Kamand is a student of data science for her second master’s degree. She has a background in industrial engineering and healthcare systems engineering.

She is interested in the applications of data science and AI in the healthcare domain. For her master thesis, she is using subgroup discovery to study whether there is any relation between getting cardiovascular disease and the exercise/activity timing during the day. This project is in collaboration with LUMC and supervision of dr. M. van Leeuwen.
